Samsung is hosting a press event in Germany next week and speculation is that the Korean manufacturer will announce a mini variant of Galaxy S III smartphone there. Samsung Galaxy S III Mini was first rumoured back in August, when a report accompanying Galaxy S II Plus leak suggested that the company will reveal Galaxy S III Mini smartphone in Q4, 2012.
Not-so-mini in size, Samsung Galaxy S III Mini is reportedly going to feature 4-inch Super AMOLED 800x480p display, dual-core processor and a 5MP rear camera. There is no word on the Android version inside, but we think it is going to come with Ice Cream Sandwich (with Jelly Bean update coming in next few months).
Other specs are still a mystery, but the previous report has indicated a pricing around 250 euros.
The invite for the event carries a tag line “something small will be really big,” which also cements the S III Mini rumours.
Samsung had recently announced the successor to original Note at IFA in Berlin, Germany itself, and it recently went on sale in UK and India.
