XOLO X900 gets Ice Cream Sandwich update



After months of wait, Intel and Lava have finally decided to release Android 4.0 update for XOLO X900 smartphone. The update, which started rolling out since Saturday, is available both over-the-air (OTA) and via PC, company stated on its official Facebook page.

The OTA download is about 222MB and will take you XOLO X900 to Android 4.0.4.

XOLO X900 was the first Intel chip powered smartphone to go on sale worldwide and is currently available in India for INR 17,500.

The update will bring a host of performance improvements, resizable widgets, new UI, improved browser, face unlock and more.

To remind you, XOLO X900 features 1.6GHz Atom Z2460 processor, 4.03 inch display, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera with flash, 1.3 MP front camera and 16GB of internal memory.
