Every computer user has experienced application hangups and freezes at one point or another. When such a situation arises, users need a fallback solution. For Mac users, this fallback solution is offered by an app called Ctrl Alt Delete.
Ctrl Alt Delete is a free to use desktop app for Mac computers. The app is sized at nearly 1 MB and compatible with Mac OS X 10.6. You install the app and let it run in the background; when a problem arises, you simply use the app’s hotkey combination. The app then shows you a list of open programs and the option to exit particular apps, or shutdown / log off / sleep / restart your computer. You can also use the app to log off / sleep / restart / shutdown your computer after a certain time period has passed.
