HTC 8X, Desire SV now available for Rs 34,149 and 21,799 respectively


While the HTC 8X is based on Windows Phone 8, the Desire SV is based on Android OS.

The recently unveiled Windows Phone 8 based HTC 8X and Android based Desire SV are now available through Saholic for Rs 34,149 and Rs 21,799 respectively.

Currently no other popular online retailers are shipping the products, however it is likely to be available through physical and online retail stores in a couple of days.

Flipkart is currently taking pre-orders for the phones. It is offering a free Sandisk 16 GB memory card with Desire SV and ML 10 Bluetooth headset with HTC 8X on pre-order though the price quoted is slightly higher than Saholic.com. It has also promised to ship the phone this week itself.

The new HTC 8X features a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 display with 720p HD native resolution. The display panel has been built using Corning Gorilla Glass 2 technology for strength and resistance from scratches. The phone is 10.12 mm thick. You can read the review of the phone here.

The HTC Windows Phone 8X has a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 mobile processor and the Adreno 225 graphics. HTC has packed a 1 GB RAM and 16 GB on-board storage in the phone as well. There is no memory card slot though. The Windows Phone 8X has an 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash. There is also a 2 megapixel front facing camera which is said to be powerful enough for recording 1080p HD videos. The 8X has also the Beats Audio sound enhancements for best quality audio output with Beats Audio headphones and earphones.

On the other hand, the Desire SV is the flagship dual SIM phone from HTC and is currently the best dual SIM phone that you can buy in terms of specification. It comes with a 1 GHz dual core processor along with a 768 MB of RAM, 4.3 inch LCD 2 display, 4 GB internal storage expandable to 32 GB, it also has an 8 megapixel main camera which features an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus lens with LED flash for detail and accuracy in images even in low light conditions.
