InternetOff: Quickly Enable Or Disable The Internet Through Windows System Tray


The Internet can be a big distraction while you are trying to work on your computer. You turn your computer on to finish a book report and end up spending an hour on Facebook or YouTube. One easy way to keep yourself from spending time online would be to quickly disable the Internet while you were working. Here to let you do that with ease is an app called InternetOff.

InternetOff is a free desktop application for Windows computers. The app is sized at 1.5 MB and compatible with Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, and Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit. After you install the application you will find its icon in the Windows System Tray. Through this icon you are able to instantly enable or disable the Internet. You can also specify the duration for which the Internet is to be disabled e.g. for 5 minutes, for an hour, etc.
