Kingston launches 64 GB class 10 micro SD card for Rs 5K


Kingston has introduced new Class 10 microSDXC memory card with Class 10 standard specification for smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.

Kingston has released the new faster and more storage offering memory card for mobile devices. The new Kingston microSDXC Class 10 memory card comes in 64 GB storage capacity. Extra large flash storage bearing new microSDXC card is specially meant for the modern day smartphones, tablets, digital cameras and other devices.

Kingston joins the game of the few players offering 64 GB flash storage memory cards with class 10 standard. The new 64 GB Kingston microSDXC memory card offers high speed transfers at about 10 MB per second. Such high speeds for data transfer have now become necessary to store richer 3D graphics bearing games and bigger image sensors for high quality imaging as well as videography.

This new micro SDXC card where XC stands for 'eXtended Capacity', operates with exFAT file format that has been designed to handle extremely large files - bigger than 4 GB.

Kingston offers the new 64 GB microSDXC class 10 memory card for Rs 4,999 for Indian market. Though the price appears little steep, it is worth every buck for investing in such storage capacity for those who are always on the move.
