Opera Software has announced a new service, called Opera Web Pass, which brings pay as you go model for the Opera Mini users. The new Opera Web Pass offers option to the consumers to choose the packages which are basically combination of accessible websites, limited browsing or unlimited access for a day or more. For instance, you can choose to access Facebook or Google+ for a day or use any website for a day. So eventually consumers get to purchase pre-paid data access for stipulated time.

Opera has incorporated its proprietary Data Compression technology that compresses data of any web page and then pushes mobile screen friendly version to the user's phone. With the new Opera Web Pass, the mobile operators will be able to offer Pay-As-You-Go packages to the consumers.
