RIM BlackBerry 10 L-series device image leaked


RIM has commenced testing of the BlackBerry 10 OS running new L-series smartphones with the partnering mobile operators.

A new image of purported L-series BlackBerry 10 smartphone has surfaced on the web courtesy of N4BB.

RIM was to launch of BlackBerry 10 OS based devices towards the end of this year but it has now pushed the schedule to first quarter of 2013.

Chief executive officer of RIM, Thorsten Heins stated in a brief statement, "In the last week, BlackBerry 10 achieved lab entry with more than 50 carriers, a key step in our preparedness for the launch of BlackBerry 10 in the first quarter of 2013."

The BlackBerry 10 OS integrates new set of features and the user experience is aimed to impress everyone. The new BlackBerry 10 Developer Alpha Be device was handed to the developers by the end of September. Meanwhile RIM has begun testing the new BlackBerry 10 OS based L-series smartphone (London) with the 50 mobile operators across the globe.

The testing process will continue for couple of months while several carriers will test and evaluate the new BlackBerry 10 OS and the devices. The company is on scheduled to announce and release the BlackBerry 10 OS based smartphones. To make up for the lost time, we are expecting the company to go bullish in the initial phase.
