Samsung Galaxy S IV to feature 1080p display, 2 GHz processor

The next in line Galaxy smartphone is already in process & will feature a quad core 2 GHz processor & full HD display.

Samsung's next flagship Galaxy device, called the Samsung Galaxy SIV, will be based on a quad core 2.0 GHz processor, Christianpost has claimed. The website also claimed that the smartphone will have a full HD 1080p resolution display. Till now full HD resolution displays have been adopted by players like HTC and Sharp for their devices, and Lenovo too is working on a similar high resolution smartphone. The hardware elements for the Galaxy S IV are expected to include a Samsung quad core processor running at 2.0 GHz and a 5 inch or bigger display with 441ppi pixel density and 1080p resolution.

The Galaxy SIV is also expected to get a 13 megapixel camera, which was earlier expected to be featured on devices such as the Galaxy SIII and the Note 2. The increased number of pixels will require more RAM as well, which makes us believe that the device might come with 2 GB or more RAM.

The smartphone is expected to be showcased during the Mobile World Congress early next year along with other innovations that Samsung might want to add to this new device.
