Samsung Galaxy S Advance to get Jelly Bean in Jan

The upgrade will bring a better user interface to the smartphone along with a host of other features

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance, which is yet to get the Android ICS and would perhaps never get it, will get the Jelly Bean upgrade in January next year. Samsung Mobile's Germany arm revealed this on its official Facebook account.

The upgrade is expected to bring a better and responsive user interface to the Galaxy S Advance along with Android's very own integrated voice recognition engine.

Along with that there will a brand new notifications bar, two home screen modes and a reorganised settings menu as well for better and much easier work around the complex settings.

However, it is not clear that whether the smartphone will get the Galaxy Note like home screen and functionality or not. Also, there is uncertainty about the inclusion of the video pop out feature with the Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S Advance.
