Acer announces Liquid E1, a Jelly Bean Android with 4.5-inch display



Taiwanese manufacturer Acer, which has been a little silent on the smartphone front, has announced a new mid-range Android smartphone. Dubbed as Liquid E1, the smartphone is part of company’s Liquid series of Android smartphones and runs on Jelly Bean.

Acer Liquid E1 also packs a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch qHD display, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera and front camera. The smartphones also features 1760 mAh battery, 4GB of internal storage, FM Radio and the usual connectivity options.

There is no word on when are going to see the availability of Liquid E1 or how much it is going to be priced.

Acer Iconia B1 tablet now available in Singapore

In related news, Acer has recently launched its entry-level Android tablet Iconia B1 in the Singapore market.  Priced at S$199, the tablet features a 7-inch 1024x600p display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, front camera and Android 4.1.

It is the same tablet, which was launched in India a few days ago at INR 7,999.
