Other specifications of the device include a dual-core MediaTek processor (MTK 8317T) clocked at 1.2 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB built-in storage expandable via a micro SD card. The tablet will also run the Android Jelly Bean operating system.
Acer Iconia B is going to be launch in India soon, as we have already confirmed, for around Rs 8,000.
The Iconia B1-A71 also has a 2,710 mAh battery along with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. While MediaTek 8317T is certainly not the best chipset out there but will be able to provide decent performance. What makes this tablet better than the home grown brand products is expectation of superior quality and inclusion of GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 which most budget tablets do not have.
