Carphone Warehouse database screenshot points that the upcoming BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is likely to launch for Rs.41,500 ($755 approx).
RIM going to introduce its all touch BlackBerry Z10 smartphone along with BlackBerry X10, based on its latest Blackberry10 Operating system tomorrow.
While enough leaks have shown how exactly the phones look like, mystery shrouds around the prices. Meanwhile, Engadget was tipped with a screenshot product database of the popular British online retailer - Carphone Warehouse. This screenshot also included the expected pricing of the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone.
RIM is aiming at the high-end smartphone market with its first BlackBerry Z10 smartphone on January 30. The BlackBerry Z10 will feature 4.2-inch LCD touchscreen display with 1280x768 pixel resolution. It will be powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz mobile processor with 2 GB RAM. At the back will be 8 megapixel camera with capability to record full HD video. The phone will pack 16 GB storage and micro SD card slot to add a memory card. This smartphone will come with BlackBerry 10 OS and will be offered in White and Black Colours.
The Carphone Warehouse's product database listed the White BlackBerry Z10 smartphone for GBP 480 which equals to about Rs. 41,470 in Indian denominations. Most likely it will be priced around US $ 750 in the US region and these are the rates for SIM-free (Contract-free) smartphone.
We take this information with a grain of salt and based on the specifications paced by RIM, we expect bit of surprise with the price of BlackBerry 10 OS based devices. We shall anxiously wait for the formal announcement from RIM.
