Build With Chrome: Build Virtual LEGO Structures

If you are a fan of LEGO building blocks, check out Build With Chrome. It is an experiment from Google that lets you build virtual 3D LEGO blocks online inside your browser. To start building blocks go to their website, choose your spot on the map and click “Build” at the upper right corner.

Once your spot is loaded you can start building LEGO blocks right away. All the available blocks are on the left side. To start building simply drag each block with your mouse on to the surface. You can perform all the necessary actions with your mouse – rotate blocks, remove blocks,  zoom in and out and even rotate the platform itself.

Once you are done you can publish your build to the map using your Google account or email. Others can explore your build but it won’t be published before it is approved by the LEGO Group.

Features:

  • Build LEGO blocks online inside Google Chrome browser.
  • View map in 3D or 2D.
  • Pick different colours for building blocks.
  • Explore builds by other people, view most popular builds.
  • Share your builds on Google Plus.
