Often when we need to move files to another folder that is not yet currently open, we simply right click on the file and choose the ‘cut’ option to copy them to the clipboard; pasting these files elsewhere remove them from their original location and move them to the new folder. The right click mouse action requires two steps; a developer has cut it down to a single step through his app called “Cut with Drag & Drop.” Cut with Drag & Drop is a freeware desktop application for Mac computers. This light application is sized at 0.3 MB and requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later. The app places a new icon in your dock of applications. To cut files and folders, all you need to do is drag them to the application’s icon. You can select multiple files and folders and drag them onto the app to cut multiple objects simultaneously.
