Zync Z5 with dual core processor available for Rs 11,990


Faster dual core processor and 8 GB of onboard memory will certainly be welcome for this 5 inch smartphone.

Indian Android tablet and smartphone brand Zync has announced the revamped version of Zync Z5 smartphone for the Indian market. Similar to its first Android smartphone Zync Z5 Cloud, the new Zync Z5 now comes with a faster 1 GHz dual core processor for better performance while flaunting the same 5 inch LCD display.

Zync Z5 also comes with dual SIM connectivity supporting dual GSM connections. The smartphone now features a 1 GHz dual core processor based on ARM Cortex architecture. While the amount of RAM remains the same with 512 MB as memory the company has increased internal storage to 8 GB. The new Zync Z5 comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera with flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera, both with video recording capability.

The 5 inch display features 800 x 480 pixel resolution, which is default resolution across devices coming from various Indian brands in this category. Along with that the device gets 5 point sensitive capacitive touch as well.

The Zync Z5 is based on Android 4.0.3 ICS operating system and is also expected to be upgraded to Android Jelly Bean soon. The phone gets a large 2500 mAh battery as well that promises good battery backup.

The new Zync Z5 has been priced at Rs 11,990 which is almost Rs 2,500 more than its predecessor but with the faster processor and improved internal storage this 5 inch smartphone comes in direct competition with devices such as the Micromax Canvas, Spice Stellar Horizon Mi500 and iBall Andi 5C.
