It comes with an innovative user interface that resembles Microsoft's Windows Phone home screen.
HTC is all set to launch its new smartphone, the HTC One, in India by March end.
While the launch of HTC One in India has been confirmed by the people in the know, pricing is still a guess work.
HTC One runs on Android 4.1 operating system but the differentiating factor in this smartphone as compared to other Android running smartphones is its home screen, called as BlinkFeed. The home screen, designed by HTC itself, resembles Microsoft's Windows Phone home screen and Flipboard.
HTC's BlinkFeed interface consists of tiles in home screen, similar to what is seen in Windows OS based smartphones that update automatically feeds from mail, calendar and social media.
HTC One has real estate of 4.7-inch screen with 1920x1080 pixels resolution. It has a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2 GB of RAM along with 32 GB internal storage. On the connectivity front it supports Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and LTE. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery.
Additionally, HTC One has two speakers- one at the top and the other bottom of the display screen. Along with that HTC One has an infrared diode that converts the smartphone into a remote control for TV.
