There are countless iOS device owners who use Spotify’s iOS application to stream music that is not available on their phone. What they basically do is listen to music on their phone and when they are in the mood to listen to a song that is unavailable, they switch to the Spotify application. This switching of applications is inconvenient particularly when you are trying to get into the rhythm of the music being played. What you need is a way to store your music collection in a single source.
Ideally this would mean that your iTunes songs would go to your Spotify account. But transferring all your iTunes songs to your Spotify account might not be practical since the total amount of data would be very large. But here to tackle the problem in an intelligent way is an excellent iOS application called M2S for Spotify.
M2S for Spotify is sized at nearly 6 MB and is compatible with iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad devices running version 5.0 or later of iOS. M2S for Spotify helps its users transfer the music collection in their iOS device to their songs in Spotify. As mentioned above, transferring the actual songs would be impractical since the amount of data would be too high. So what the app does is copy the metadata of the audio in your music collection and then it sends that metadata to your Spotify app. Not only does this make the transfer possible, but it also makes it impressively fast.
The app boasts of transferring up to 10 songs per second. Per playlist, the app lets you transfer 5,000 songs. Once the songs have been sent, you can use solely the Spotify iOS application to listen to music. The app can also access your iTunes Match account and transfer music from the cloud music library.
Features:
- A user-friendly smartphone app.
- Compatible with iOS devices.
- Transfer songs from iTunes library to Spotify.
- Can transfer up to 10 songs per second.
