Xolo A1000 has a one glass solution (OGS) that makes the smartphone quite sleek and is just 8.8 mm thick. Things are getting hotter in 5inch smartphone space and to make it spicier Xolo will be launching Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) based Xolo A1000 in the next four days. Confirming the development Sunil Raina, business head, Xolo Mobiles"Shipments for 5 inch smartphone Xolo A1000 have arrived and it will available in both retail market and online stores from February 16." He further said, "Xolo A1000 will be available in two colours - white and black and initially only white colour will be made available." Xolo A1000 has a one glass solution (OGS) that makes the smartphone quite sleek and is just 8.8 mm thick. In the designing process of the smartphone Xolo has removed the extra flab on the border of the phone while retaining the display area to give the slim fit look. The phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6577 processor and has a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution HD screen. It will be having a 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of Internal memory which can be expanded to 32 GB using Micro SD card. Xolo A1000 will be powered by a 2100 mAh battery and will come with an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash at the back and VGA one in the front. Raina didn't reveal the price of Xolo A1000 but it is expected to be around Rs 15,000. Xolo A1000 will be the first 5-inch smartphone from the company. Xolo A1000 is the successor to Xolo A 800 which was a dual SIM based smartphone running on a dual core 1GHz MediaTek chip and has Android 4.0. It had a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 Pixels) IPS display. The phone also featured an 8 megapixel camera with backside illuminated (BSI) sensor and had features like auto focus and touch focus.
