Apple is now offering a minimum of Rs 7,000 discount on iPhone 4 for any smartphone.
Now you can buy the famous Apple iPhone 4, which usually costs Rs 26,500, for just Rs 16,500. But for that you must exchange your old smartphone for the iPhone 4.
Actually, Apple has started a buy back programme under which it is offering the iPhone 4 in exchange of any smartphone. The discount could vary depending on the smartphone model you are willing to exchange. Though the amount of discount offered is not clear, according to a report of Business Today, you would get as much as Rs 10,000 off if you exchange a decent smartphone for the iPhone 4.
"The customer will get a minimum discount of Rs 7,000, but if the value of his phone in the second hand market is more, his discount will be higher. For instance, if his model is fetching Rs 8,500 in the used phone market, he will get the entire amount as a markdown on his iPhone 4 purchase," the Times of India claimed.
This means that you can exchange your entry level smartphone to get the iPhone 4 for this special price.
Several retailers are offering this scheme on behalf of Apple and one just need to fill up a buy back form and pay the rest of the amount.
Launched in 2010, the Apple iPhone 4 comes with a 1 GHz processor, 5 megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 3.5 inch display, 1420 mAh battery and iOS 4 operating system which is upgradable to iOS 6.1.3 version.
