The much awaited PIN authentication system for BBM will be added to BlackBerry devices along with several other features.
BlackBerry will release the BlackBerry 10.1 software upgrade towards the end of this month, according to a report.
The software upgrade will bring back the BlackBerry PIN which was missing from the original BlackBerry 10 operating system. BlackBerry PIN was earlier required for users to connect with other BlackBerry users and everything was linked in with the email address for easier and faster access.
Along with that the BlackBerry 10.1 will bring some improvement for the camera software, making it a bit faster. Also the devices will receive ability to capture in HDR mode with the new software upgrade. Also included will be the extensive support BlackBerry Link, which will allow users to wirelessly browse the contents of your computer from your phone.
Reportedly, the BlackBerry 10.1 is claimed to improve the typing experience with more accurate word predictions and a new keyboard shortcut support.
The upgrade is not yet been released but BlackBerry is likely to be made available by the end of this month in Canada. It is also expected to be released for users in other countries soon after.
Currently, only the BlackBerry Z10 is the only device with the BlackBerry 10 operating system available in India.
