After going on pre-order a few days ago, Huawei’s new Android smartphones in Ascend series are now available online. The phones Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300 can be purchased from Flipkart for INR 10,990 and INR 7,980 respectively.
The smartphones join company’s Android portfolio in the country, which currently includes phones like Ascend G600, Y210D, G330, and P1 LTE.
Huawei Ascend G510 comes with features like 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch IPS display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1750 mAh battery and 5MP AF rear camera. On the other hand, Y300 packs 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch IPS display, Android 4.1, 1730 mAh battery and 5MP rear camera. You can find the detailed list of specifications at the end of the post.
Flipkart is currently quoting shipping time of 8-9 days, which is a lot, probably because the company is expecting to get the phone stock in the next few days. At this pricing, both the phones seem decent, but the actual performance will matter a lot. Still, they are worth considering.
