Benchmark scores of yet unannounced LG Optimus G2 has revealed the speed of the smartphone.
LG Optimus G2, the successor of Optimus G, is now claimed to be the fastest smartphone of the world, toppling the recently released Samsung Galaxy S4.
According to GLbenchmark, a popular benchmarking tool, the new flagship handset from LG that will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset has the highest benchmark score till date as compare to any other smartphone currently available in the market, atleast for now.
Though the phone has not been announced officially by LG, most of the details are already available through this result. As per the benchmarking results specifications of LG Optimus G2 D801 are 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor, 2 GB RAM and the Adreno 330 GPU. It will house a full HD 1920x1080 pixel display. And while size of the display is not known, rumors suggest a 5.5 inch display.
LG Optimus G2 will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It is also expected to house a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and a front-facing camera for video chatting.
Rumors have been going around that Optimus G2 will come with Octa (8) Core processor from LG, called Odin. Even though this Benchmark score talks about a Qualcomm chipset, possibility of Odin can't be ruled out even now, because there is still a possibility that LG will reveal two versions of the smartphone with two different chipsets, just like the Samsung Galaxy S4 which comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 as well as Samsung Exynos Octa core chipset.
