New entry level Android handset, VIVA 5660 launched for Rs 4,799


Konka, a new Chinese entrant into the Indian market, has launched a new entry level Android handset named VIVA 5660.

Konka, a new Chinese entrant into the Indian market, has launched a new entry level Android handset named VIVA 5660. The claim to fame for this handset is its slim profile of 8.2 mm.

The phone comes in two colour options of black-red and white. It comes with a 3.5 inch IPS display with HVGA (320x480) resolution. Additional features include an Android 2.3 operating system with 1100 mAh battery. And also has 2 megapixel autofocus camera with LED.

The Dual SIM phone comes with 1 GHz processor coupled with 512MB RAM and offers connectivity features like Bluetooth, WiFi and EDGE, however you do not get 3G connectivity.

The phone is available for Rs 4,799 and competes with the likes of Micromax A54 Smarty, Lava Iris 355, Micromax Bolt A51.
