Samsung Galaxy Note 3 image appears online

An alleged image of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note II successor has appeared online. Spotting a 5.9-inch display, Galaxy Note 3 looks considerably large in size compared to Galaxy Note II. Posted on Baidu forums, this image is said to be of an engineering sample of Note 3, so chances are that the final design might be little different than this.

As per the accompanying specs and previous rumours, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will feature a 5.9-inch full HD display, 2.0 GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone also reportedly runs on Android 4.2.2.

We expect to see an announcement around IFA 2013, but some reports also indicate an early debut of the phone.  We will know more in the coming days.

In related news, WSJ recently reported that Samsung is planning to launch a rugged version of Galaxy S 4 smartphone, which might be dubbed as Galaxy S4 Active. The phone is expected to be announced in July along with Galaxy S4 Mini. WSJ also added that the Korean manufacturer is also working on a new 8-inch tablet that will be released in June.
