Alcatel launches phone with Galaxy Note like features for Rs 12090


The 5 inch phone comes with Android 4.1 OS, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording and 2500 mAH battery.

Alcatel One Touch has now launched yet another Android smartphone in the Indian market, called the Scribe Easy OT8000d, for Rs 12,090.

The 5 inch Android 4.1 based phone comes with a Stylus which allows taking notes via an app called Scribe Note. You also get other apps like movie maker which supports stylus input. This takes the device in the league of Samsung Galaxy Note and LG Optimus Vu.

The Alcatel OneTouch Scribe Easy sports a 5-inch WVGA (800x480) resolution display. The display has an Oleohpobic coating that prevents finger prints and smudges. Also, the display is made up off Dragontrail glass is like Gorilla Glass that prevents minor scratches.

The phone has 512 MB of RAM and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8225 processor. The device also has 2.4 GB of built-in user usable storage and has a micro SD card slot for expandable storage.

The One Touch Scribe Easy sports a 5 megapixels rear camera and a secondary front facing VGA quality camera. The rear camera supports video recording 720p at 30 frames per second. It supports dual-SIM connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and aGPS.

The phone comes with a 2,500 mAh battery with claimed talktime of 10 hours, which is great.
