Chrome for Android updated, gets full-screen view

Google has just pushed the Chrome for Android v27 in Google Play. The update isn’t a huge one, but still brings a few nifty features to the browser. Some of these features have been available in Chrome Beta for many days, but the stable version is getting them just now.

One of these new features is the full-screen view, which allows you to browse the web on your full smartphone display, particularly useful for phones with not-so-massive screens.

Fullscreen on phones – Scroll to hide the toolbar
Simplified search – View and refine your query directly in the omnibox
Tab history on tablets – Long press the browser’s back button to view your tab history
Several stability improvements
You can download Chrome for Android from here.

To remind you, the PC, Mac, and Linux versions are already available. So, unless your desktop Chrome has already been updated automatically, you can update it now. You can find change-log here.
