ionee, which had entered the Indian market with its Dream D1 quad core phone, has announced another quad core processor based handset under its eLife series in India. The new phone, called Gionee eLife E3 has been priced at Rs 14,999.
The E3 boasts a 4.7 inch IPS HD display, 16 GB inbuilt memory, 8 megapixel back camera with autofocus, face detection, Geo Tagging, skin tone enhancer and touch focus ability, a front 2 megapixel camera, and a 1800 mAh battery. The phone is quite slim at 7.9 mm thickness. The 3G device has dual SIM slots.
Gionee eLife E3 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor and runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The phone comes with an in-built Digital Theatre System (DTS) sound.
The E3 is available in Red, Blue, Graphite Black and White colours and is priced at Rs 14,999. The phone competes against Micromax Canvas HD A116, Spice Pinnacle Pro Mi 535, UMI X2 etc.
The feature set and specifications wise, the phone is top notch and gets very good pricing as well, and given that Gionee has expanded its retail and service network very well, it is one phone that you can look at buying very safely.
