LG India has started the process of updating its Optimus L7 smartphone to Jelly Bean in the country. The update is currently available via LG Mobile Support Tool, but it should also be available over-the-air in the coming days. You can grab the Mobile Support Tool download from this link.
The update brings a host of new features and enhancements to the phone including Project Butter improvements, Google Now support, Wi-Fi protected setup (WPS), expandable notifications and UI enhancements.
Originally launched in India last year, LG Optimus L7 was until running on Android 4.0.
India isn’t the only country where the L7 Jelly Bean update is available; LG has also rolled out the update in countries like Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Poland, and Taiwan.
