Samsung India has started rolling out the first software update for the Galaxy S4 smartphone in the country. Now available over-the-air, this update mainly brings stability improvements to the device. In other words, Samsung is just removing odd glitches, which might have been discovered after the device release or very close to the release and fixes of them were not included in the pre-loaded software.
Update details: New software build number id JDQ39.I9500XXUAMDK, Size is 54MB.
Samsung Galaxy S4 had gone on sale in the country beginning April 28 and it has just been a few days. There is no word on whether a similar update is being released in other regions too. The Indian version of Galaxy S4 packs Eyxnos 5 Octa inside, which isn’t really available in most of the markets apart from South Korea, so chances are that update is just meant for Exynos versions.
To remind you, Samsung Galaxy S4 is being sold for INR 41,500 in the country and can be bought from almost any major retail store in the country.
