Vertu TI Android phone reaches India for INR 6,49,990

Luxury mobile phone maker Vertu has released its first Android phone Vertu TI in the Indian market recently. Carry a price tag of INR 6,49,990, the phone is clearly meant for the uber-rich Indians, who want to show-off.

The hand-made Vertu TI packs a Grade 5 titanium body with a scratchproof sapphire crystal screen. This phone also features Bang & Olufsen stereo speakers.

According to the company, this luxury smartphone comes with Android 4.0, 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 64GB storage, 3.7-inch sapphire crystal display, titanium casing, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, and NFC.

“Vertu will never be at the bleeding edge of technology,” Hutch Hutchison, Vertu’s head of Design said. “It has to be about relevant technology and craftsmanship – it’s not a disposable product,” he added.

Vertu TI also comes with something called Vertu key, which provides instant access to a curated world of benefits and services available via a global team of professionals available to customers wherever they may be, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. These services include Vertu Certainty, which helps protect the device, its data and, where necessary, the customer. Vertu Life – tailored information, articles and benefits – sits alongside Vertu’s Concierge Service.

If you are one of uber-rich Indians and want to grab this phone, you can reserve a unit on Vertu website or visit the Vertu Boutique in DLF Emoporio Mall, New Delhi.
