After 2G, Bharti Airtel reduces 4G data tariffs

The new plans bring 4G tariff on par with 3G plans being offered by Airtel itself.

After reducing 2G data tariffs, Bharti Airtel has now reduced its 4G data tariffs to bring it into the level of 3G data rate.

For instance, it is now offering 2 GB, 3 GB and 4 GB data for Rs 450, Rs 650 and Rs 750 respectively; for 2 GB 3G data it is charging Rs 455 a month while for 4 GB 3G data it is charging Rs 755 a month in Delhi circle.

However, these three initial plans does not entail users to access the Entertainment Library. However, users of higher data plans will have free access to a digital library of 1,000-odd movies and 100 games evolved in partnership with BigFlix and Indiagames

On the other hand, customers subscribing to Rs.999 and above plans will also be able to enjoy free access to an entertainment library of 1,000 movies and 100 games powered by BigFlix and indiagames.

The higher data plans include Rs 999 (10 GB), RS 1299 (12 GB), Rs 1449 (15 GB), Rs 2049 (25 GB), Rs 2999 (45 GB), and Rs 4799 (80 GB).

The new data plans are meant for Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune and Chandigarh circles.
Airtel offers 2 kinds of 4G devices for customers to choose from. The Airtel 4G dongle brings high-speed wireless internet experience to the laptop, while the Airtel 4G CPE Router offers a home WiFi solution wherein multiple devices , including 3G smartphones and 3G tablets, can access internet at 4G speed.
