Google keyboard now available in Google Play

Stuck with a custom keyboard from your manufacturer, worry no more. Google has announced that it is making the stock Android 4.2 keyboard available in Google Play. Now, any Android device with Ice Cream Sandwich or above on-board would be able to install the great stock Android keyboard directly from Play Store.

The stock keyboard comes with some nifty features and is a great keyboard to use on any Android device.

“Google Keyboard has Gesture Typing (which lets you glide through letters to form a word, just lift your finger to enter a space), automatic error correction, and word predictions. You can also tap the microphone to compose messages with Voice Typing when you’re on-the-go. Together with dictionaries for 26 languages (plus keyboard layouts for a dozen more), it provides a fast, accurate, and reliable typing experience,” Google noted in a post.

Google Keyboard can be downloaded only from English speaking countries right now, but Google is going to add more countries soon. If you can’t wait for the official availability, you can grab the APK file from the following link.
