HTC T6 phablet revealed, to pack 5.9-inch display & Key Lime Pie

We have been hearing about an upcoming HTC phablet for the last few days. According to online reports, HTC is reportedly working on a giant version of HTC One smartphone, which is codenamed as T6. Now, thanks to an evleaks report, we have the expected specifications of this giant smartphone.

According to evleaks, HTC T6 will come with a 5.9-inch full HD display and is going to be powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. As, this phablet is going to compete with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note III, it will also be packing support for pen-based input.

If you remember HTC Flyer tablet or bunch of old HTC Windows Mobile (not Windows Phone) devices, you know that HTC is not new to stylus support. So, we expect a great implementation of stylus in HTC T6.

Evleaks further notes that HTC T6 will be taking design cues from HTC One, which is not really a bad thing.  The phone will also come with front dual Boomsound speakers with dedicated audio processor, Ultrapixel camera with OIS, 2.1MP front camera and 2GB of RAM.

The phablet will sport 16GB of internal storage with microSD card expansion support. This is not all; the T6 will be running on Key Lime Pie, which is a bit surprising as we are yet to see the launch of even Android 4.3 and how can HTC be able to get KLP for T6 if it is aiming for late summer release. We believe that the device will most likely be running on Android 4.3 rather than Key Lime Pie.

In addition, HTC T6 will also be featuring fingerprint reader on the back like Motorola Atrix.  In terms of accessories, HTC will be offering a protective-case-cum-backup-battery jacket, which will pack a 1250 mAH battery to complement the 3300 mAh battery inside HTC T6.
