The phone is priced at Rs 11,999 and has 5.3 inch qHD display, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 8 MP rear camera and a 3 MP front camera.
Josh Mobiles, an Indian mobile brand, has launched a new Android smartphone called Josh Fortune HD. The phone features a 5.3 inch display with qHD (540x960) resolution.
Josh Fortune HD also features 8 megapixel rear camera and a 3 megapixel front camera. The phone has Android 4.0.4 ICS operating system, 1.2 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB RAM. It has also 2 GB internal memory and 32 GB expandable memory slot.
The Fortune HD comes with a 2400 mAH battery with claimed talktime of 4.5 hours (which is not much). Other features of the phone include, Dual SIM, GPS, 3G, G-sensor, Proximity sensor, WiFi and Bluetooth.
Josh Mobile has priced the phone at Rs 11,999, which make it compete directly with Micromax Canvas Doodle A111 which has better specification in most aspects like quad core processor, Android 4.1 operating system and is priced at the same level.
Given that Micromax is a much bigger brand compared to Josh Mobile, we do not see much uptake for this phone. Josh should have put Android 4.1 or 4.2 in the phone to at least make the phone comparable to the Micromax product.
