To be priced around INR 20,000
NDTV Gadgets is reporting that Karbonn is planning to launch its first Android smartphone with full HD display next month in the country. The smartphone is reportedly going to be dubbed as Titanium S6.
Pradeep Jain, Managing Director of Karbonn Mobiles, revealed that the phone will be priced around INR 20,000. We believes that the exact price will be INR 19,900.
“Our aim at Karbonn is not to provide the cheapest smartphone is the category but a quality product in the market. We have done that with our past products and we will continue to do the same with Titanium S6,” Jain told NDTV Gadgets.
There is no word on the release date right now but the Titanium S6 is expected to come with quad-core processor, 13MP rear camera, Android 4.2, and stylus support. The display size is unconfirmed right now, but it is likely to be 5-inch.
Karbonn Titanium S6 will be joining the company’s already available S1 and S5 models in the Titanium series. The phone will also be competing with Micromax’s upcoming Canvas 4 smartphone, which is expected to go on sale in July as well.
