Lemon Mobiles launches A4 Android phone with 1080p display

Lemon Mobiles today announced the launch of its first full HD display smartphone – A4. Part of the company’s Aspirational series, Lemon A4 has been priced at INR 17,999, and is the cheapest available 1080p display smartphone in the Indian market.

According to a press release issued by the company, Lemon A4 features a 5-inch 1920x1080p display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.2. These are some pretty impressive specifications for the given price-tag and would certainly cut down the sales of other budget phablets that comes with 720p displays.

In addition, A4 comes with 5-megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, HDMI/MHL out, and 1850 mAh battery. The battery seems to be a concern here as such a big display need more power and with just 1850 mAh on-board, the phone would not even last a day.

“We are delighted to launch the new smart phone in Aspirational series. The Full HD quality and a user friendly interface were our two main goals in branding. Prior to the launch, we studied and tested hundreds of possible phone types with a core group of customers. This is our first step towards enabling our consumers to experience the high quality of communications,” said Sandeep Mushran, Co-Founder & Director Fastrack Communications Pvt Ltd.

The phone will be available in the coming days.
