After a long wait, Lenovo India today took the wraps of its flagship K900 at a press event in New Delhi. The smartphone, which is set to debut in stores next month, packs Intel’s Clover Trail+ dual-core chip.
Lenovo K900 was originally showcased at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. It features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1920x1080p full HD resolution, Android 4.2, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, out of which only 8.8GB is user accessible.
K900 is powered by 2.0 GHz Atom Z2580 processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU and comes with 13MP rear camera with Sony BSI sensor, front camera and 2500 mAh battery.
Pricing: Lenovo India has priced K900 at INR 32,995
The India launch of K900 follows the phone’s debut in Malaysia and Thailand earlier this week. The smartphone is available now or very shortly in a total of eight markets globally and Lenovo is promising to release it in 10 more by the end of the year.
“Lenovo has built a strong smartphone base in China, and last year we began offering our smartphones in additional markets. The Lenovo K900 is a world-class smartphone, which will compete well around the world. Intel has been an ideal partner for developing the K900 and ensuring an outstanding user experience for our customers,” said JD Howard, vice president, Mobile Internet Digital Home business operations and business development in separately issued press release.
