As Samsung gears up to announce its rugged variant of Galaxy S4 on June 20, the press render of the S4 Active has appeared online. The particular image is of the AT&T version of Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, thus the AT&T logo on back. The international version of the phone is also expected to look exactly the same.
As per online reports, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active will be water and dust resistant. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor and feature a 5-inch full HD display like the original Galaxy S4.
In addition, the phone will pack 8-megapixel rear camera, 2.1-megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Android 4.2.2.
As you can see, the main differences between Galaxy S4 and S4 Active are the external durability and camera sensor, which is a downgrade from 13MP.
So, we just have to wait until June 20 now to see the official unveiling unless the company announces it before that like Galaxy S4 Mini.
