Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for Galaxy S4 owners in India earlier today. The update brings the same set of goodies including Apps to SD support, which were released for GT-I9505 variant in Germany and select other countries a few days ago.
The update is 343MB in size and is being released both over-the-air and via Samsung Kies app. As all updates are released in phases, not everyone will get this update right-away. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings << About << Software Update, but if your phone does not show an update, don’t worry, you will get it in the next couple of days.
There is no official change-log available right now, but as per reports the update brings new camera firmware, smearing issue fix, Smart Pause toggle, HDR video support, semi-transparent status bar, new icons in settings, and secure boot status in About Phone.
If you have already got the update, do let us know about the experience in comments and also mention any new features/ changes that you might have noticed as a part of this update.
