Samsung launches Galaxy Core smartphone for Rs 15,199

Dual SIM connectivity based mid ranged Galaxy Core comes in at Rs 15,199.

Samsung has launched a new 4.3 inch display based Android smartphone, called the Galaxy Core, in India. The dual SIM smartphone comes with Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system and is attractively priced at Rs 15,199. The device is available from online stores and is expected to be made available in the retail markets soon.

The Samsung Galaxy Core's 4.3 inch display has 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It comes with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM that is expected to be enough for multi tasking.

The Samsung Galaxy Core offers 8 GB of internal storage memory, which can be expanded by a SD memory card up to an additional 32 GB. There's an in-built FM radio which can be used to tune into your favorite radio station. The phone comes with high-speed WiFi and HSDPA 3.6 connectivity for faster data downloads and jitter free multimedia on the go.

The Galaxy Core comes with a 5 megapixel camera at the back with a VGA camera at the front for easy video calling and conferencing. The device is powered with an 1800 mAh battery pack for longer backup time as well.
