Huawei announces MediaPad 7 Youth Android tablet

Huawei has announced a new addition to its MediaPad tablet line-up in the form of MediaPad 7 Youth. As the name suggests, the new tablet sports a 7-inch display, although there is no word on the display resolution at this moment.

According to the company, the tablet will go on sale this quarter in Russia, China, Asia Pacific, Middle-East and Europe.  Huawei is yet to reveal the pricing, which will be announced at the local launches of this slate.

Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth features 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 4100 mAh battery and Android 4.1. The tablet also comes with HSPA+ connectivity, Wi-Fi support as well as ability to make voice-calls.
