Lenovo has released a new Android tablet in the Indian market. Dubbed as Ideapad A1000, the tablet is now available at the company’s official e-store in the country for INR 8,980.
Lenovo A1000 features 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek 8317 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 7-inch 1024x600p display. The tablet also comes with Android 4.1, 3500 mAh battery, 2G and voice calling support and microSD card slot.
Originally announced back in February this year, Lenovo A1000 seems like a decent budget tablet and one of the best options for consumers looking to grab a tablet under INR 10,000. The tablet will be competing with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 311, Asus Memo Pad and Acer Iconia A1 at the price-bracket, none of which come with 2G data or voice-calling support.
