One can exchange his older smartphone to get up to Rs 11,000 discount on the BlackBerry Z10.
After Apple and Samsung, BlackBerry has now announced an exchange offer on its flagship handset - the BlackBerry Z10.
Under the scheme, one can exchange his or her older smartphone for the BlackBerry Z10 and get discount between Rs 3,000 to Rs 11,000 on Z10. However, the scheme is available through 1,400 outlets in 11 cities only including the four metros, Lucknow, Bangalore, Baroda and Chandigarh. The amount of discount though is the discretion of the dealer.
"We have launched the exchange scheme from today for the BlackBerry Z10 and after evaluating the response from the customers, we may implement the same for other smartphones in our portfolio," said BlackBerry India's director for channel sales Prosenjit Sen.
Currently the BlackBerry Z10 is being sold by many online retailers in India between Rs 35,000-Rs 42,499. Since it is up to the dealers to decide the discount, it's anybody's guess as how lucrative this offer is.
