Rovio seems to be planning to launch a new Android game on July 15. The publisher on Friday started teasing what seems to be another Star Wars themed Angry Birds game, probably based on Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
“Attention, Angry Birds fans! Stay tuned on Monday, July 15th, for big news about a brand new game! We’re talking the biggest character line-up ever, awesome new powers, and maybe even a few surprises,” Rovio noted in a blog post.
This would be the ninth Android game of this popular game publisher, after the release of hits titles like original Angry Birds, Angry Birds: Rio, Angry Birds: Space, Angry Birds: Star Wars, Amazing Alex and Bad Piggies.
There is no word on other details of the game or whether it would be free or paid but July 15 is not very far. We will know all the details the coming Monday.
