Samsung has started rolling out at-least two software updates for Galaxy S4 GT-i9500 users in India. Both the updates are available via Kies and over-the-air (OTA).
There is no change-log available for any of the updates but according to update details, these updates bring stability improvements to the device. Some users are also reporting smother phone performance as well as better battery management among the noticeable changes.
In terms of the update size, the first software update that takes build number from MF5 (last three letters) to MF8 is about 12.87MB in size, the second update, which takes build number to MG1 is about 42MB in size.
As not all the updates are rolled out at once, it might take a few days for these updates to appear on your phone. If you get an error like “maximum number of update roll-outs reached”, try after some hours or update your phone using Kies app.
If you have already updated your Galaxy S4, do let us know about the experience in the comments.
