Vodafone announces free Twitter access for all

Free Twitter access was also offered by RCom earlier, there are special packs from across Airtel, RCom and Vodafone for social network access.

Vodafone today announced free Twitter access to both its postpaid and prepaid subscribers in India. The offer is applicable till November 1 and will enable its subscribers to access the official Twitter app or Twitter's mobile website (mobile.twitter.com) for free.

However Blackberry users can't use this offer, also this offer is not valid for Twitter access through third party apps and external links. You will also be charged to view pictures, videos and other media.

Vodafone subscribers won't have to do anything to avail the free Twitter access. The carrier's website gives an impression that Vodafone won't charge for any traffic coming from Twitter's official app or from its mobile website.

Free Twitter access was also offered by RCom earlier, there are special packs from across Airtel, RCom and Vodafone for social network access, including Rs 16 pack from RCom and Airtel for unlimited access to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
