Google announced the launch of new Nexus 7 tablet in the South Korean market on Monday. The tablet, which is set to become available in the coming days, is now on pre-order via multiple online retailers as well as Lotte Mart, Hi Mart, Shinsegae Mall, Auction, E-Mart, and E-Mart Mall.
According to a report in Korea IT Times, the 16GB version of Nexus 7 (2013) will cost 329,000 won ($294), while the 32GB version will go for 369,000 won ($330).
There is no word on the exact availability date right now. In related news, Asus India Country Manager Peter Chang has told The Hindu that the company plans to release Nexus 7 (2013) in the Indian market sometime before the end of this year.
“The process for the second generation is under control, and, hopefully, by our fourth quarter, we will be able to introduce it to India,” Chang said.
To remind you, Nexus 7 (2013) is currently available only in select countries. It features a 7-inch FHD display, quad-core Qualcomm processor, 2GB of RAM, 16/ 32GB of internal storage, Android 4.3 and Wi-Fi support.
