Samsung announces Galaxy Golden Android flip-phone in Korea

After the launch of Samsung SCH-W789 in the Chinese market, Samsung has now officially announced Galaxy Golden (SHV-E400), another Android clamshell, in South Korea.  According to the company, it will be released on telecom operators SKT and KT in the country.

Samsung Galaxy Golden features dual 3.7-inch AMOLED displays with WVGA resolution, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera, and 1820mAh battery. The phone also comes with FM Radio, LTE, Android 4.2 and tradition numeric keypad.

Samsung has also pre-loaded software features like S Health, business card reader, Easy Mode on the smartphone.

According to a press release issued by the company, it will be sold for 799,700 won ($714). There is no word on whether the phone will ever be released outside Korea.
