After launching the Desire 600 with Sense 5, the company now plans to bring its variant, the Desire 600c to the Indian market. The phone maker has listed this new handset on its official website.
Just like the Desire 600, the 600c variant also features dual-SIM capability. However, this dual-SIM handset adds support for CDMA, along with GSM. The 600c hasn’t just taken design cues from the earlier version, but comes with similar set of specifications. Just like the Desire 600, it sports a 4.5-inch qHD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. One will see a similar 8MP snapper at its rear side and a 1.6MP front-facing camera.
The phone runs on Android Jelly Bean with HTC Sense, along with BlinkFeed and other features. However, there is no confirmation on which version of Android it will run, or whether it will get a layer of the latest Sense 5. The dimensions of the device are 134.9 x 66.78 x 9.55 mm. Its 8GB on-board storage is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card slot.
One can also expect support for 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, DLNA, and GPS. It is fuelled by a 1860mAh battery, and gets audio features like Beats Audio and HTC BoomSound.
While we can expect the HTC 600c to arrive soon in the Indian market, the exact launch dates and pricing are not disclosed yet.
